Privacy notice

This notice explains how Trekkers Bars Ltd ("Trekkers", "we") uses personal information collected through trekkersbars.co.uk. We're the data controller. You can contact us at alex@trekkersbars.co.uk or 2 High Street, Chesham HP5 1EP.

What we collect and why

• Contact and private hire forms: your name, email, phone (optional) and message, used only to reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests / taking steps at your request before a booking.
• Newsletter: your email address, used to send occasional news about beers and events. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
• Website hosting: our host processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and secure the site.

Third parties

• Maps: the map on our Visit page only loads from Google when you choose to show it. Google's own privacy policy then applies.
• Links to Instagram, Facebook and Untappd take you to those services, which have their own policies.
• Form submissions are stored by our website host and email provider. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months unless they lead to a booking. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and doesn't run any analytics. Your browser may store small preferences (such as whether you've seen our intro animation) for the current visit only.
